I had a 89 m20b20 e34 in alpinweiss. That was a great car. Edit: I am not sure if the Blaupunkt Milano radios and it's brothers are offered in US but it's worth checking them out. They are made to fit old BMW interiors just perfectly and you have all bells and whistles of having a modern radio. Good luck with the project!

Have a question about the plate underneath that has the three bolts. When putting it back on to the strut housing, do you need to slight them in from the outside of the car laterally, because of the notch? Or just bring them together directly from the bottom?

15:02 I‘m having trouble removing the bottom part of the rear struts (bolt is already out), already used a lot of rust remover, hammered on it and even used a wooden block with an axe! In every video I see it only needs a small push by hand :/ Have you got any ideas what else I could try?

Try and drive the IX version of that with m-tech version with lowered suspension. It has rack and pinion sterring awesome drive. Put some Bilstein shocks and boy, what a drive. I remember driving between Bologna and Innsbruck along side a mustang by the time we got to 230km/h the back of the mustang was twitching while the beemer was still smooth and steady to 245 where i stopped with the mustang in the mirror. In that part of Italy caltex sells 100 octane fuel, boy does that quiten up an engine

The most clear guidance so far, thank you @myersmotors. I've ordered the Bilstein B12 Pro kit, which consists of shorter B8 shocks and Eibach Pro sport springs. I was contemplating whether to go for OEM shocks instead, but after your input, I think using sport shocks in conjunction with shorter springs is the best choice. After all, Bilstein wouldn't have put together this kit without good reason.

Did you get any clunking in the front ? I put Vogland springs on my 525i with stock shocks and i get some clunkimg going over small bumps

I'm planning on buying a '94 525i and this made me a lot more confident in my ability to perform basic maintenance, and it also made me much more confident in my choice of car especially after hearing the stereotypes of BMWs not being reliable lol, God bless my friend, love the content.

21 mm if you have a V8 model. You’ll also have to remove a bolt underneath where the thrust arm bolts in to give room for your wrench to fit in the gap

My 1995 BMW 5251 is my bread winner right now doing 62 miles daily. I FEEL SAFE AND TAKE COMFORT IN ITS POWER WHEN NEEDED.
